RO System

RO systems bring a great advancement to water treatment. However, they are susceptible to biofouling.  JC 9450 is effective at pre-treatment to remove any trace of organic contaminants and post-treatment to prevent biological re-growth.  JC 9450 is a high strength oxidant in the same family as ozone but at a much lower capital and operating cost.  Using ORP as a tool to control the feed rate of JC 9450, you can develop a low cost method of disinfecting using a low tech system.  JC 9450 is cost effective and safe to use on all applications.


Biofilm provides protection to various pathogens in water treatment, wastewater, oil & gas production, post-harvest operations and more. To destroy the biofilm you have to oxidize the extra-polymeric substance (EPS) surrounding the pathogens.  JC 9450 provide sufficient oxidative power to destroy the EPS and eliminate harmful pathogens.  By using ORP (oxidation-reduction potential) and keeping the energy level above +600 mv, JC 9450 is very cost effective and simple to use for the removing biofilm.

Gas Scrubber for H2S

JC 9450 is an excellent additive in helping to control Hydrogen sulfide in a gas scrubber system. Using a gas scrubber to remove hydrogen sulfide it is important to understand oxidative energy.  Hydrogen sulfide exist in an environment where the oxidative energy will vary between -125 mv to -250 mv. Adding JC 9450 to the liquid phase of the gas scrubber provides a quick reacting oxidant that can remove 2 molecules of hydrogen sulfide per molecule of JC 9450.  It reacts quickly in your system leaving only the sulfate molecule as a by-product.  JC 9450 is an easy to use and offers a low cost method to treat H2S
